Upcycle - reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.
For this project, a big ammount of cardboards found on the street, ready to be thrown away, was collected. It was a really long process of cleaning the cardboard pieces by opening up the cardboard boxes, removing most the tapes and cutting in square shapes. The size is in dimensions that can be found in most common cardboard boxes and the design behind this chair was carefully made for comfort - the extra part of the cardboard is used for a table, or footrest. I also created a DIY template showing materials and instructions on how to create your own "KASha ChAIR".
