CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE MATOSINHOS
Este projeto nasceu no âmbito de uma proposta que consistia em criar/recriar uma homepage para um Município ou Autarquia ao meu arbítrio. Optei por uma instituição que me fosse próxima e para isso a resposta óbvia seria a Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos.
Matosinhos é conhecida pela sua inegável ligação com o mar e com a vida piscatória. Repleta de história e tradição, é também uma cidade que olha para o futuro e que busca novas plataformas de atualização e desenvolvimento. É nesse sentido que se fundamenta a minha proposta gráfica aqui apresentada.
Com base nas origens e perspetivando o futuro deste Município, tentei criar uma abordagem gráfica contemporânea que fosse facilmente relacionada com as caraterísticas deste local. O objetivo principal era desenhar um logótipo “clean”, moderno e fácil de adaptar aos mais diversos suportes de comunicação.
This project came through a proposal to create/recreate a homepage for a city of my choice. I wanted it to be a meaningful Institution for me and the obvious answer could only be Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos where I grew up.
Matosinhos is known for its undeniable connection with the sea and the fishing life. Full of history and tradition, is also a city that looks forward to the future and seeks new platforms to invest in the city development. This attitude is what builds my graphical proposal presented here.
Based on the origins and looking at the future of this city, I tried to create a contemporary graphical approach that is easily related to the characteristics of this city. The main goal was to design a logo that was “clean”, modern and easy to adapt to various media of communication.
