NOOD is a design studio that is focused on composing on necessary items that are preventitive of throw away culture. All items are handmade in the UK as through my research I found that this makes people develop a deeper connection with an item making them less likely to throw it away. Yet the main problem is the price tag. The majority are unable to afford them therefore turn to shops such as Primark, where they can buy cheap item they can buy, wear once, throw away and then buy another.  

NOOD changes this by composing, high quality affordable items.
All the piece are unisex, as generally handmade footwear is just for men. There is also a Child kit shoe available. 
The soles are composed from natural latex and shredded down shoe soles, from shoes that have been disposed of by others. The addition of the existing waste material makes the more durable, gives an added aesthetic and most importantly prevents from landfill.
All the piece have been handmade by me. Would retail as pre made and in kit form, to allow people to make there own footwear and developed that connection that prevents throw away culture.
