This and the next three pieces are my work from The Big Move, a MyJennyBook story. MyJennyBook is a company that specializes in creating multimedia stories where children place themselves in the role of the protagonist as they go on adventures and learn life lessons. In this book the child reading the story imagines what it's like to move to a new place. The book was published in July 2012 and the images are owned by MyJennyBooks. The stories were all written by Jennifer Betit Yen, the CEO of MyJennyBook. Learn more about MyJennyBook by going to http://www.myjennybook.com/my-website.

Settling in a new environment can be heartbreaking as this crying cloud would indicate.
The protagonist arrives to the new environment.
The protagonist misses the old home with the tree and the tire swing. The protagonists in MyJennyBook stories are never actually shown as it makes it easier for children to imagine themselves in the story.
This illustration and the next three are part of My Robot, a MyJennyBook story where the protagonist likes to build things. The protagonist builds a lot of things in the story such as popscicle stick planes and mud castles like the one you see here. This compels the parents to buy a robot for the protagonist to assemble. The story was published in July 2012 and the images are owned by MyJennyBook.
Some assembly required...
The robot is finally built and the protagonist takes it to school. Here the robot teaches kids how to build a robot. Fun Fact: These are actual robot physics on the blackboard!
The children in school build a female robot and she in turn helps them in building other things. The original robot supervises.
This and the next three images are my work for My First Alphabet Book, a MyJennyBook. The book was published in October 2012 and it was recommended by Heads Up! Pediatric Literacy Program, a division of the Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health. L is for "Lion," "Love," and "Lemon." The images are owned by MyJennyBook.
N is for "Nickel," "Newt" and "Nut."
O is for "Ostrich," "Oranges" and "Outside."
U is for "Unicorn," "Umbrella" and "Ugli Fruit."
This and the next four illustrations are my work for Hello, World! I'm a New Baby! The story centers on a new baby who has come into the world and imagines what it will be like growing up. The story was published in January 2013 and all images are owned by MyJennyBook.
The baby wonders, "Will I get a kitty cat?"
"Or a nice doggy?"
The baby thinks, "One day, maybe I will travel to faraway places."
The baby wonders about becoming a scientist one day. This image was made for female readers as the silhouette represents them.
Here is the masculine version of the same image, intended for boy readers.
