G-Shock vs Earth Campaign

G-SHOCK VS EARTH
The goal of this campaign was to come up with a creative "artistic" way to display the features of the 8 G-shock's adventure watches, buy putting them to their limit on their "native" environment:  being used by 8 top mexicna athletes and artists on 8 different locations around Mexico,  enhancing the main feature of each one of them.
Its important to say that this was more “an artistic project” than a commercial project. The idea was not to be advertisement, but to work with Mexican elite athletes and artists while showing each watch capabilities.
 
Marcos Ferro (Adventure Photographer) was commissioned by the PR agency “Another Company” to create a transmedia project for the world famous watch brand “G-Shock”.  When Marcos invited us to be part of this project, we never imagine how fun, and demanding, it was going to be.

THE EXHIBITION.
 
 
Eight big format prints (1.20 x .80cm) were exhibited  in “Another Galery” with eight videos

THE PROCESS.
 
We had 8 demanding photo/video productions in a very limited timeframe of less than 5 weeks. Between defining the athlete, location, planning and logistics, draw storyboards, shooting and editting, there was little time to sleep. On the top of this, the birth of Marcos' first son -“Tiago”-  was expected just at the middle of this campaign. No need to remark how stressing and frustrating was trying to have everything planed and ready when we didn’t know exactly when this little newborn would decide to knock at the door.

Chere, Marcos and Tiago enjoying a day in the mountains. Big respect for this beautifll family.
Nevertheless, against all odds, little by little, each production was solved and the results started to head the right way.

Obviously, there's always chances to improve, things that could have been better;  but having so much fun, being privileged of working with Marcos and having the honor of participating and learn from so many amazing and talented people, is an experience we'll always be grateful for.
