A film commissioned by the Students' Union about producing the Leeds College of Art student magazine NEST (issue 6) at Pressision in Leeds. 

 

From blank page to finished magazine, the four-colour printing process, the application of transparent foil to the cover, the folding of the 16 double-page spreads, the saddleback stitching, and trimming are all recorded in intimate detail.

NEST Issue 6 was launched at Colours May Vary, Leeds, where the film was projected into the space, mesmerising those there celebrating the release of the edition of the magazine, and the first for the new editor Josiah Craven.
