The chalk wall next to my desk is where I discover new ideas and hone my traditional chalk skills. It's also where I look when my eyes need a break.

Text treatments are some of my most favorite details to add. It's amazing how adding a small pop of vine can make plain text so whimscial and soft.

Having a rough sketched idea before hitting the wall makes life so much easier. Although it's just a place to start, once I start drawing, the ideas then become more fleshed out. Text treatments are most always nailed down while working. I love adding the tiniest of details.  They add depth and make the pieces all the more magical and engaging.
