Everything starts with a rough sketched idea. Several sketches died on the drawing board, this was the one I loved most. The sketch just prior to this one had two elongated O's intertwined and that's when I decided I didn't want to use a letter at all and instead moved to incorporate wedding bands.
The two intertwined rings create an unbroken bond, symbolic of infinite love. I wanted to make this piece even more special by adding the wedding date to the inside of the wedding band.
