Secret 7" is an event that takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and press each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. Creatives from around the world are then invited to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7”. In 2015, 700 sleeves were exhibited at Somerset House, London (UK) and then sold for £50 apiece. The buyer doesn't know who created the sleeve, or even which song it's for, until they've parted with their cash - the secret lies within. Famous artists taking part in 2015 included Yoko Ono, Goldie, Sir Paul Smith, Martin Parr, Sir Peter Blake, Jean Jullien and David Shrigley.
My piece for The Supremes' Reflections got selected to be featured at Somerset House out of close to 5,000 entries.
All proceeds went to Nordoff Robbins.
