Beauty is found in small things. Things like spray cans, even spray can caps. This is how the idea for this project came about. In the past years, spray cans have played a big role in my work, but I never paid much attention to them otherwise.Until now. The simple yet interesting form of the cap inspired me to design an original and at the same time practical chair.
Distinctive qualities of the chair are its beautiful shapes, borrowed from a simple implement, the firm but comfortable seat, the edges on which the feet can find support, its light weight. The chair is made of styrofoam, with a coating layer which cannot crack or tear or wear out. The original design is executed in plain white but it can also be produced in colour or with a pattern.
Its design and the use of unusual materials make this chair an object suitable as a furnishing in unconventional and trendy surroundings: pleasing to the eye and a pleasure to sit on, not to sleep in, but to sit on and reflect, or exchange thoughts with others.
