The coolest takeaway about pirates that I got from Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow was - that pirates could live extremely dangerous and hunted lives, and do so in an absolutely quirky and carefree way. Or at least that's the version about pirates I prefer as an illustrator. So for another illustrative campaign in college I chose 'pirates' as my subject, and created my own illustrious motley crew of characters. Each one has their own unique personality, name and back-story. Hope you enjoy them!"
