Last year I've been to Finland for one semester and studied Architecture in Tampere. During those four months I shot a total of 4'500 pictures, which I'm still selecting. In the meantime I've decided to try my hand on some photo manipulation techniques and this mini-album is one of the first results. This shots have been done in central Helsinki, Finland's capital city, at the end of October. I love to study how buildings connect with their sorroundings and so the focus of this project is the skyline of the city washed by daylight. I liked the square shapes as they look like frames inside the pictures, and they allowed me to create something different than the usual postcard-style photography.
