This stop motion video was inspired by #AdobeGenerationPro. I was trying to keep things simple as this was my first time working on a stop motion. It was quite challenging and after completing this project I have decreased the learning curve regarding stop motion and after effects.
Steps of Creation
1. Brainstorm
2. Found a piece of notebook paper
3. Traced my logo onto notebook paper from my computer
4. Used my MacBook Air Camera (Photo Booth) and angled the screen down to view table top
5. Placed and taped the middle of the paper to the table in view of the camera
6. Took 7 pictures of the crumpled sequence
7. Imported the files into After Effects
8. Followed a tutorial until I got my piece right (Click here for the tutorial)
9. For sound effects I added a .wav audio file from a free sound site (Click here for the sound)
9. Rendered as a .mov; encoded .mov to a .mp4
This work is a little rough around the edges, I realize, but for the sake of time it is complete for now. Thanks for watching!
