Floyd Mayweather is no champion. Belt or not, a man that hits women and can't count passed potato is not someone to put up on a podium and hero worship. To be clear, I didn't like either fighter between Floyd and Manny.

Leading up to the fight I began digitally painting Mayweather taking a punch based on some fight footage. Then as that finished I began applying various hand written typography upon him to convey a fragment of his failings as an idol, a man and quite frankly as a human being.

 

Being great at something does not erase what has been done and may very well be done again, considering there has been no deterrent toward stopping this monster going forward.

This piece was painted in Adobe Photoshop entirely based on initial observational digital sketch from a previous fight. The real challenge was trying to capture some of the greater items without overwhelming the piece with hate instead of a message.
