The Silence of The Lambs

The Silence Of The Lambs

Yesterday was the 25th of April. On this day, in 1974, took place the Carnation Revolution in Portugal.
People fought for freedom, for a country where they could have a say, without fear or embarrassment.
On that day, this value was achieved, the Estado Novo dictatorship (in force since 1933) was deposed and began
a process that would end with the establishment of a democratic regime. It's been 41 years, but it will never be enough to celebrate this day and cherish this so fundamental humanity's right that we won that day. It should never be late to say no, to challenge, to question, to believe that is always worth fighting for our rights. It is never late to stop being asleep lambs in a flock, dragged by where they want to take us. We need to wake up, think
and never be afraid to speak.

From this illustration, a mural was painted, in Madrid.
You can see it here.

Thank you for watching!
