As part of the Sustainable Practices in Design graduate course, the class worked with Accelerate Savannah, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of sustainable initiatives in the city of Savannah, from environmental, social, and economic perspectives.

The class, divided into four teams, formulated sacrificial concepts that would help improve Savannah's standing as a sustainable city, centered around a physical space and with the goal of positioning the city as a candidate for the Living Cities Initiative.

The concepts– a co-working space with soft-skills building workshops, a local currency, and an awareness campaign– eventually came together to provide an actionable solution.
