Grupo de Fados do ISEP every year organizes an event of "Fado Académico", a type of traditional music played by collage students. Every event they gather different groups from other collages to play songs and invite a guest of honor to dedicate the event.
This project was offered as a poster competition to the final year students of the BA of Communication Design at ESAD. This was the winner of the poster XI Grande Noite do Fado Académico, designed in collaboration with Catarina Carvalho and Rafael Machado.
The purpose of the poster was to appeal to the musicality of fado. This quest is reflected in guitar illustration and use of typography. There are three moments in its hierarchy, first the main illustration and the event name. The second moment is the main information, and the third in which shows additional information and the entity that support the event.
