I have been employed by the Stamford Council to create a double sided A5 promotional brochure for their soon to be released website promoting all the independent business in Stamford to generate new tourism for the town. The aim of the brochure is to invite these businesses to upload their details to the website.
To attract these businesses to buy into the new website I have created a simple and friendly brochure with personalised and relevent icons as the artwork. This simple two column layout has aimed to be a simplistic as possible to avoid confusion and to reflect the accessibilty of the website to these businesses. This simplicity is reflected in the clean-cut style of the icons I have created.
Using hierarchy in the typography across the design the audience is able to find the relevent information whist still being drawn around the spreads in order to sell this new concept to as many businesses as possible.
