Broadcast Design Internship Poster for MGFX
March 2015

I was tasked with creating an advertisement for MGFX's renowned internship program, to help recruit interns for the summer and fall semesters.  As 1/4th of MGFX's "internship task force", I have helped build and shape our internship program from the ground up; including recruiting interns, providing mentorship, and creating visual aids to make sure our interns get the best experience possible.  We hang up posters around VCU's campus, speak at various parts of the campus, and provide handouts for students.

Most of our posters that we create to attract interns have some sort of "broadcast" or "news" element to them, since the type of work we create is unique to MGFX.  We use a lot of After Effects and Cinema 4D, so most of our posters are eye-catching, abstract, and include 3D elements.  This time around, I wanted to create something a little different.  With my appreciation for typography and minimal design, I wanted to create a poster that was visually appealing, yet informative.

Through this project I was able to conceptualize, execute, and deliver within 2 days, and I gained valuable experience in type hierarchy, working with minimal designs, and communicating with a print shop.
