I AM BEAUTIFUL is a new start-up by women's wear designer Yuting Ji,
which is practical, classic with delicate natural material and well-cutting.
Without complicated decorating, it evokes the confidence of women when
they wear everything well fit.
Designing a visual communication for brand I AM BEAUTIFUL, I was
responsible to design an identity system and lookbook / marketing material
for the brand.
Starting with the style of the clothes. I AM BEAUTIFUL represents the
confidence, the simpleness of lady's beauty. It sounds more like a strong
statement rather than a brand name. To play with the 'statement', 'I am
beautiful' has been separated into three parts, following the strict rules of
lines - as straight as the garments lines.
Lookbook, with designer's grid as background, it illustrates the little touch
of being well-designed. Layered with colourful blocks, the graphic design
blends into the photographs.
