A project calling for the redesign of an interface that is personally interacted with on a daily basis. The primary goal of these changes was to create a cohesive functionality and brand for an existing interface that may be lacking in that area. I decided on my period tracker app as my subject matter, as it is an area that just begs to be improved upon. I Used a display typeface for branding and title text combined with a sans serif for secondary text to work towards a simple yet sophisticated design. I created the brand logo and illustrated all icons from scratch constantly gearing the aesthetic to appeal to females without screaming feminine in the way that many of the existing applications of the same kind do.
