We tied up Cupid, equated 'Being Single' with being a 'Superhero' and invited entries from the brand's FB & Twitter followers to make it an anti-Valentine's Day contest. Well, why should couples have all the fun?
SEEDED CONTEST CUES IN MEME FORMAT
At that time, Memes were almost unheard of as a content strategy for brands. We added a bit of class by manufacturing our own memes using stock photos, citing our own reasons for why we believed #SingleIsCool - reasons that seemed to strike a chord with single and couples alike.
FEATURED USER ENTRIES
Fans submitted their reasons in comments. We found apt images and converted them into kickass memes.
AMBIENT BRANDING
The client was so pleased with the concept, they decided to take it offline to a mall in Noida. We converted the social creatives into standees and flyers. Mall shoppers were asked to write their reasons on a whiteboard and pose with it. The best reasons were awarded shopping vouchers and their entries were featured on the brand's social pages.
