Project PLZ #8 is a passenger elevator cage designed for Pyshmin Elevator Factory.
The elevator cage design elaborated under this project reflects production capabilities of the enterprise and corresponds to budget class elevators intended for operation in office and residential buildings.
Three types of various ideas of shaping elevator cage members were proposed at the preliminary search stage. The customer has opted for the third version with an Г-shaped console.
During the finalization process, the design of console elements was partially modified, however the general concept was preserved.
When activating forced ventilation of the cage the air is blown into the cabin by a fan through vertical latticed air ducts.
The project provides for the implementation of elevators with various levels of user comfort. In the most low-cost models, the console features conventional mechanical buttons, the middle-class solution involves touch sensor control, while more expensive models boast a colour touch screen.
