TERM has developed an innovative, effective and efficient space heating technology being a compact electrical heater – electric convector. This design project made it possible to implement electrical convector as a skirting heater.

The body of the unit is minimalistic while maintaining proportionality of the design elements to obtain optimal aesthetics.

The device was designed not just with aesthetic qualities in mind – the heater body was thought to have easy-to-produce parts, which are less costly to assemble.

 

As a result an individual design of the body has been developed, which requires simple assembly technique:

- Main body element is cut of a steel sheet and bent in certain points;

- Heater element module with an electronic circuit board is then inserted and affixed;

- Left end cover is put on. The circuit board of the heater is connected with a power wire, heat sensor, and heating temperature adjustment module;

- Pierced steel casing is railed into position;

- At the final stage of assembling a unique system of one-movement latches is used to provide the coupling of the right end cover with the body without the need of any bolting.
