First sketch of a possible view of the map for Cinecittà World, a theme park recently open in Rome.
A further definition of the volumes and of the different attractions of the park.
Before starting to work, the sketch has been led to a better definition according to the client's needs.
The entrance. First step, I define the lines using a small brush in Photoshop

A marker sketch of the "kid's area" on a transparent sheet of paper. I will scan it and use it to start the second illustration that will be added to the map.

The Elephant: a 54 meters high tower, with lifts going up and down fast.

A pencil rough of Aktium, the trail going up and down throug ancient Roman ruins, and splashing very fast into the water.

A work in progress overview. The illustration is taking shape step by step, adding the different parts together in a psd file where I can see how to move every single level. Here you can also see the indoor attractions (theatre, yellow rollercoaster and cinema).

Defining the trail.
The Rollercoaster has been finally put in its own place.
The central part of the park: Cinema, indoor roller coaster, kids area and theatre. In the square, a large fountain is pouring water from time to time.
