A personal project in cognitive psychology
When I learned the principles of Gestalt in college, I was blown away. There's something about the way they break down cognition and explain how we perceive our universe that just makes me… happy.

The principles come up so often in trying to rationalize design decisions (and the importance of implementing spacing and alignment as designed) that I was drawn to create some fun desktop displays that exhibit some of the principles. Each image includes the law it portrays in small text (probably not readable at these resolutions).

These aren't all strictly correct. But… whatever. :)
