Blame it on the pothole
In these ads we wanted to bring out a humoristic aspect of driving over a pothole. It’s always funny to see someone spill, smash, or put lipstick on the wrong places, but it isn’t so funny when it happens to you. We are targeting the daily commuters that do not have time nor the attention span to read a billboard, so we are giving them fun memorable pictures to bring out the awareness of our hot line, that they will remember the next time that they go over a pothole. The driver can either call instantly to our hot line or go to our web site and follow easy steps to make their complaint about a certain street. We chose three common things that people do while driving or riding a car: women usually put on their lipstick while driving, drinking coffee, and eating a messy ice cream. With these events we are targeting a wide range of the population that might be whiling to pick up the phone and dial 1-800-pothole.
