Our task was to choose a shape and then play with dimension, scale, and proportion on a half scale dress form. Afterwards we moved on to experimentation on the human body and finally design concept through illustration and digital graphics.
This experimentation required us to buy a blazer from a local thrift shop, then we had to take apart half of the jacket to understand construction. We used the remaining half to manipulate shapes on the form and create new silhouettes.
