The monorail station is located in the main square of theTechnion, Haifa campus was done as a theoretical exercise in light metalstructures design and detailing.
In order to allow freemovement on the ground level in the campus reducing the touching points with the groundwere reduced to three complex columns. Environmental control in the station is achievedthrough adjustable shading inside mobile shutters that can be opened foradditional ventilation, heat removal and light control.
