Portuguese Tile themed wedding invitations

For this work I was asked to create a wedding invitation illustrated by a pattern of Portuguese Tiles, or as we say, "Azulejo". I started by doing some research on various patterns, then sketching some elements and details, until I was happy with a pattern and turned it into a vector illustration. The paper has a mild texture and was carefully chosen to match the importance of the event and to give a certain feel of comfort and warmness.
