Logo Identity
Cerealis 2017
CEED is a database constructed by every employee in Cerealis company, by adding new valuable data from every department everyone contributes to a bigger and better network of information, accessible from every factory and office inside the group.
I was asked to create an identity for this project. The most important characteristic of this network is that is going to be implemented by phases, and each department will have a goal to achieve in a certain amount of time. I developed a modular logo that can work in each phase of the project and continues to evolve until the last one, in which it gets complete, much like the network itself. As the departments finish their tasks of adding information, they should receive part of the logo.
The inspiration for the logo comes from the name of the project and its goal of growing a network of information. I developed an oval shape based on a seed, during the various phases of the project, the seed "opens", this illusion is given by adding layers composed by halves of the last "seed". In the end, the illusion of a plant or flower evokes a sensation of achievement and something to be pursued.
