XXS Dutch Design shows the design process of a stamp. From the permanent collection of stamps designed over the years, the museum shows the works of of Dick Bruna, Irma Boom, de Designpolitie, Rineke Dijkstra, Joost Swarte, Anton Corbijn and Studio Job. Stamp design is a very rich Dutch Design tradition and stamps are seen as miniature works of art. The stamps tell stories about all kinds of subjects, it is the world on a tiny piece of paper. With this exhibition design we wanted visitors to step into this world by making the stamps lager then life, we wanted them to be submerged in a sea of 1.200 stamps.

Next to this the new royal stamp of King Willem Alexander will be presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition was opened on 27th of November by King Willem Alexander.
