Inital ideas for the Whistles Scent.
The large 250ml fragrance bottle takes inspiration from the classic and timeless teardrop shape.
The women’s 10ml sample fragrance will hang as a necklace on the outward facing garments in store. Sample bottles will only be available on purchase of an evening/smart casual outfit. Sample bottles are a dab stick instead of a spray.
The large 250ml fragrance bottle takes inspiration from the masculine tie and tie clip shapes.
 
The men’s 10ml sample fragrance will attach on the outward facing shirts and blazers in store. Sample bottles will only be available on purchase of an evening/smart casual outfit. Sample bottles are a dab stick instead of a spray.
Both fragrances will use the name Vapour, however the small triangular logo will rotate to represent the W for women and the M for men.
 
Initial ideas for the packaging for the larger fragrances; taking inspiration from Whistles’ current packaging and the fragrance’s bottle shape
Final idea for the packaging, with slight rotation adaption on the current shoe packaging whistles uses.
Instore Marketing: Using the farming technique the Whistles' fragrance will be subtly promoted around the store.Using the theme of the triangles, triangular shelves will be situated around the store for the packaging to sit.  The larger fragrance bottles, out of the packaging will be located at the counter point with other products on sale.

To promote Vapour in print, the campaign will use a scent strip in all Whistles’ seasonal catalogues, print advertisement and other printed media. Once the consumer peels the strip away, the fragrance logo will appear underneath; this will help bridge the gap between the smell of the scent and the brand.

The online campaign will take a similar approach to the print campaign. The models advertising the evening/smart casual wear will wear the sample bottles. A new tab for the fragrances will be located along the top bar. In this tab, you will be able to purchase the larger or sample bottles if no clothing purchase has been made.
The advertising of the fragrance will be continued throughout the consumers visit to the website. Once an outfit has been clicked on the fragrance will be modeled and also in ‘Wear this With’ section, which will take the consumer to the fragrance tab if clicked on.
