NYC Department of Education: StarTchr Project

In 2014 Brand Labs NY was approached by NYC Department of Education Office of Arts and Special Projects with a unique challenge: to connect, involve and support the professional development of NYC’s arts teachers. We came up with a hybrid technological solution which was based on our partner Learning Management System and rooted in social media best practices. As a result Arts Educator community of New York now has a place to support, share, and grow upon best practices. It’s called StarTchr – www.StarTchr.nyc

StarTchr was introduced to the Arts Education community via a Trailer Website which has generated unprecedented engagement surpassing set goals by over 300% in the first week. As a result the platform launch had its much needed base of curious and loyal early adopters and brand advocates.
