Group project in which we were to design a simple plastic product and be able to completely understand how it would be manufactured. We chose an action camera because we thought it would be fun and we could challenge ourselves to make it waterproof.

oring is pressure fit by back cap to prevent leaks. It can be opened and closed by a simple half turn.
section view so you can see that the buttons are part of a double shot injection molding process. We used this process because it allowed us to have buttons while keeping the design simple and waterproof.
