This was an experimental project where I delved into the simpler elements that form any work of design. 2 contrasting characters from different pop culture series who have an interesting dynamic with each other were chosen. Their physical forms were broken down to the simplest element. The characters chosen were a detective and a serial killer; Hercule Poirot and Hannibal Lecter. After reducing them to their simplest form, I created 2 sets of portraits for each character - image portraits and letter portraits. The image portraits showed peculiar characteristics of the character whereas the letter portraits were a three letter logo unit. The next step was mixing the portraits of both the characters. The result: A combination of shapes, lines and colours which gave rise to interesting characters and imagery!
