AJUA CALENDAR
I was contacted at the end of 2014 by the team behind the Mexican project by the name of Ajua, which focus on hand lettering basicly. The idea they presented to me was to do a calendar for 2015 in which each month of the year would be illustrated by a lettering artist, 6 of them would be Mexican artists and the other 6 from abroad. I was the chosen letterer from Spain and they assigned me the month of December. I did a first brush pen sketch and I built the whole composition around that. I chose the sentence Remember to home in December because reminded me of when I used to live abroad in the UK and my mom always would expect me to come home for christmas so I decided to work on that idea. Here you can see the results of what I came up with for the project and some pictures of the calendar already finished and printed, I hope you enjoy it.
