_______

Lausanne font is something I worked on about 8 months. Her character borrows from classic Didot examples with a hint of Copperplate and my main idea here was ignited by the high contrast logotypes of famous luxury brands like Prada or Louis Vuitton. I followed the established rules, but also allowed myself some quirkiness which (I hope) adds bit of a playful voice of the typeface.

Lausanne covers the following Unicode blocks:

C0 Controls and Basic Latin
C1 Controls and Latin-1 Supplement
Latin Extended-A
Latin Extended-B
Spacing Modifier Letters
Latin Extended Additional
General Punctuation
Currency Symbols

Languages:  Afrikaans, Albanian, Basque, Bokmål, Bosnian, Breton, Catalan, Cornish, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Faroese, Finnish, French, Frisian, Friulian, Gaelic (Manx), Gaelic (Scottish), Gagauz (Latin), Galician, German, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Karelian, Ladin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Luxemburgish, Maltese, Moldavian (Latin), Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Rhaeto-Romanic, Romanian, Sami, Serbian (Latin), Slovak, Slovenian, Sorbian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish and Welsh.

PS. There are some missing glyphs and I'm not very happy with the numerals, so watch this space for updates. Thank you for clicking on APPRECIATE THIS button!
