We were deep into recession and thousands of people were being laid off. All those talented people were in urgent need to exchange information, to discuss solutions, to find a new job or business partner, to feel they belong to a like-minded community and most important, to remain optimistic.

Artemide, our client, wanted to encourage laid off people to look at the full half of the glass and work towards a 'brighter future'. What started as a request for a promotion dedicated to laid off professionals eventually turned into an entire community that opts for the bright side of life.

The only asset that stays with you after you're laid off is your business card, so make use of it to illustrate the positive changes the recession brought into your life.
As a clear sign that everyone is affected and concerned by the recession, cardsofchange.com quickly made it to several blogs and various newspapers and magazines picked up the story. Our collection of positive messages grows larger every day and it will be soon turned into a book.
