Since 2012 I work for Volvo Car Corporation in Copenhagen. This is a selection of the projects I have been involved with, which have reached the market.
I played a key role in designing the core interaction model for the new Sensus touch UI which was developed for the Volvo SPA platform and launched in 2015 with the all-new XC90 and the recently launched S90.
Sensus touch was awarded the most innovative car HMI at we-conect 2015.
3rd party apps for Volvo Sensus touch
UI design lead for all connected 3rd party apps for Sensus touch 2015 and beyond, including the all-new XC90. This work included both making detailed UI designs as well as leading a team of UI designer and collaborating with developers in a scrum environmant. TuneIn, Rdio, Glympse, HERE, Baidu & Pandorda are some of the 3rd party apps made for the Sensus touch platform.
Connected apps for Volvo Sensus
UI and graphic design lead for all connected apps for the current vehicle lineup (2014-). This work included making pixel perfect graphic design, wireframes and collaborating with both internal and external developers in a scrum environment. There are about 25 apps available on different markets including TuneIn, Parkopedia, Weather, HERE, Yelp & Storytel. In 2014 the connected apps received the Telematics Update Awards - the most prestigious award for HMI within Automotive.
