Artisans are people who have devoted countless hours of their time to learn a dying or unappreciated skill. They have fallen in love with their medium, material or technique, and as a result, they choose to dedicate their hands to creating.The hands of an artisan are their most important tool. Their hands bend, cut, and manipulate materials to their will. As fewer and fewer people dedicate their lives to learning fine crafts,  the crafts themselves begin to fade away. Techniques and traditions that were once passed down from master to apprentice are now lost with no future.
