Foundation 2D - Emotion Study

 

The first project that we did in my first year foundation 2D class. We were tasked to create using whatever printmaking techniques we wanted to create postcards of 6 different emotions: Anger, Fear, Disgust, Happiness, Sadness and Surprise.

 

We were encouraged to explore and experiment with different techniques. After scanning the works, we could use photoshop to edit and touch up the pictures before composing them as postcards that evoked the emotions.

Overall, it was a very experimental project that I enjoyed greatly. It allowed for me to explore different techniques that I would eventually learn to use in other works.
