To create a new visual identity for Bitcoin.

For me the crux of this brief was not how to encourage people to use Bitcoin, as my research had shown that millennials are more than willing to adopt digital payments. The real challenge was to transform Bitcoin into a brand based on trust, transparency and consistency. For me Bitcoin represents an anti-establishment option; defying the conventional financial systems and generally annoying those with all the power. Exaggerating this rebellious streak Bitcoin is transformed into Oof!, a virtual currency designed to encourage people to challenge the inequality produced by an outdated system. By tapping into the anti-government feel promoted by the likes of Russell Brand. Oof invites people to get angry and encourage others to open their eyes to a broken system.
