Some time ago there was a random viral "thing" on Twitter. Somebody decided to start translating places of Costa Rica, and used the hashtag: #lugarestraducidos (in English it meas #translatedplaces).
The idea was to translate a costarrican place name into english dividing parts of the word.
Lets see an example of this: Orotina is a place of Costa Rica, so in spanish if we separate this word, we get two different meanings: "Oro" means Gold, and "Tina" means Tub. The funny part was to realize that Orotina was meant Golden Tub in english.
I tweeted some names but at the end of the day there were nearly hundreds of tweets with names. That was fun but after that I wanted to "immortalize" those places by illustrating them.
