This was an assignment on my typography class, we had to do a calendar for a city we come from.
Rijeka is a industrial port city, with one huge shipyard and few ones of moderate size, it has also refinery that is planed to shut down.The city has a huge history, has always been a significant port and by so, bombarded and conquered many times, even was a standalone republic for 4 years.
Now, the city is in a transition with plans to move the entire industry out from the city and attract more tourists.
I wanted to do a calendar as if Rijeka is still a industrial city, I didn't want to ran away from such a interesting history that has shaped this town for centuries.
