The project is logo and brand guide book design for 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation in 2017.
Canada is unitied, prosperous, free and strong nation. Its logo has to evoke pride and reflect diverse nation with rich past and promising future. The logo designed with the maple leaf like a crown, and it is composed with symbols of people. 13 stems of the symbols indicate the 10 provinces and 3 territories of Canada.Their shapes were edited as if moving forward in order to make an impression of promising future. Red which is associated with passion, strength, love and power is going to be used with gradient effect in colour version to give a sense of celebration and dynamism.
