asli is an all natural cosmetics range. The range is produced using natural ingredients such as Witch Hazel, Aloe, Yucca, Shea Butter, and Watermelon Fruit extract and is made to be used by all skin tones. International model, and founder of the range, Ashanti Wandia discovered the cosmetic properties of the herbs and minerals used in the ingredients while growing up on her parents’ farm in Kenya.

Henn+Honeyball where commissioned to design the identity for asli cosmetics which would include the name generation, packaging and basic stationery of the brand.

The identity draws inspiration from the characteristics of nature and human touch. The logo mark is a stylistic representation of the lines present on human skin and the soft green pallet was selected to hint at the natural ingredients of the products. Taking into account the future expansion of the asli range, we created a numbered labeling system. The first range of asli products is the 1 range the second will be the 2 range and so on. This was to enable easy recall and identification by consumers.
