3D Anaglyph image (red cyan 3D glasses required).
This series of photographs were the result of a day photography trip to the Putangirua Pinnacles, in the Aorangi Forest Park, Wairarapa New Zealand. I captured all of these images with my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera in raw format and post processed them with Adobe Photoshop CS5.
The interesting part of this landscape is that the film director Peter Jackson used it for two of his films. It featured in Lord of the Rings Return of the King in the Paths of the Dead sequences. It also featured in the 1992 film Brain Dead (otherwise known as Dead Alive) in the film's initial Sumatran Rat Monkey sequences.
