BACKGROUND
Nu Levá Cabo Verde Pa Frenti (Move Cape Verde Forward) is a socially conscious movement developed by Global Money Transfer (GMT) Cabo Verde aimed at uplifting the community of Cabo Verde and its diaspora. It is focused on building ties within the community, both the public and private sectors and encourages entrepreneurship by providing training and opportunities in the financial and technological sectors. The slogan “Nu Levá Cabo Verde Pa Frenti” demonstrates the union between the two variations of Crioulo; Barlavento and Sotavento and thus reinforces of the message behind the movement – unity and collaboration. Collaboration not only between the community at large but also between GMT Cabo Verde, its partners and institutions interested in being proactive in Cabo Verdes transformation.
