Arctic Paper's Agenda
// Designer Drugs

We set out to create a day planner/book that through the use of questions, ideas, statements and quotes could act as a catalyst of inspiration for graphic designers. The book engages designers both through writing and visuals causing them to think, reflect, laugh and in turn create their own outcomes without any instruction/brief as to how.

The book contains our visual interpretations of the free, unfettered release of thoughts encountered through the creative process. By this means it could act as a trigger for any designers process.

Our aim when designing this fantastical masterpiece was to: create a ‘calendarial’ compilation of designs, sketches, pictures, words, sentences, madness, hints of inappropriate behaviour and not cooking recipes.

The dual function of the book as both calendar and inspiration source ensures a constant necessity. We just want this book to be a special little piece of the owner’s life. A book special for its ability to be personally relevant to each designer in their own way.

This project was created in collaboration with Stephanie Wright and Patrick Wivegh.
